She has overall responsibility for providing strategic leadership and managing the daily operational activities of the Board of Examiners. She supports the Board of Examiners in formulating the Strategic Plan and administering and implementing policies in order to achieve its goals and objectives. Suzette is a Graduate of Florida International University (FIU), where she attained a Master of Business Administration Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from the University College of Caribbean (UCC). She is also a Certified Professional Secretary and a Certified Early Childhood Administrator. Currently, Suzette is a volunteer at the Jamaica Lifelong Learning (formerly known as JAMAL Foundation), a chartered member of the Human Resources Management Association of Jamaica (HRMAJ), and a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of South St. Andrew (KCSSA). Suzette has over 22 years’ experience working in the private sector, specializing in business administration and human resource management, as well as working in Construction and engineering sector. In 2014, she made the transition to the public sector when she joined the Board of Examiners as the Administrative Manager. Her vision is to spur the Board of Examiners to be internationally recognized, and to ensure alignment of the business processes with the ‘best practices’ as occurred in other regions. Additionally, she aspires to create an ‘A’ class customer service environment, where both internal and external customer experience exceeds expectations. She is focused on providing accurate, reliable information to the wider public, as she contributes to the strategic planning and development of the electrical installation sector.
